This is my Disney portrait, I used darker colors for this portrait to give off a more spooky affect. The brighter colors are "popped" in the background and they emphasize the trees. I used different shades and colors for trees.
This is my choice project. I used vibrant orange and softer colors. I painted a form of a galaxy with comets falling from the sky. I used vibrant greens for the grass and vibrant oranges and tan colors for the planets.
This is my "still life" portrait. As you can see, the colors are bright and represent and brighter day. The drawings are leaves and grass. I shaded the leaves a lighter shade of green and gave the border a more edgy color context. I highlighted a lot of the drawings with a darker shade of tue original color.
This is a picture of my landscape. It takes on the effect of Mt. Si. The shades of grass I used were to take on a more dying affect as it was in the fall or winter perhaps. Mt. Si towers over the tall grass and stands steadily in thr background. I tapped thr brush a few times or patted it against thr canvas to give a texture affect. I outlined it to make Mt. Si stand out more. I contrasted the colors in the sky as well to represent daytime and gave the mountain and few tan spots to represent the rocky peaks it possesses.
As you can see, this is a self portrait. This portrait shows a little bit of shading to take on a more realistic effect. There are different shades of colors and the background seems to make it "pop." I mixed darker colors with lighter ones. I also mixed black and brown to get a better skin tone. The hair contains many shades of many colors.
